For the referral bonus you need to get referral code of someone else, who’d agree to split their referral bonus (which is currently $50 instead of the usual $25) with you. (Since that someone also gets $25 this actually increase grand total to $150.)
Clarification: $50 goes to someone who gives you the code, not you (the subscriber). The idea is to agree to split the money so that each of you keeps $25.

IMHO this is a good deal for those who’ve been sitting on a fence like me or those who have moved, etc.
Some people claim that you can refer yourself and keep all the money, but personally I would not chance it.
If all goes as promised, it should take about three billing cycles to get all the money back, at which time you can downgrade to a cheaper package and stretch the money even further
